WordFlow Support

Email [email protected]

That is a real inbox, read by the person who builds the app. We aim to reply within two business days (Sydney time).

If you are reporting a problem, it helps enormously to include your phone model and whether you are on iOS or Android. Please do not send us a recording: we have no way to receive it, and your practice audio is meant to stay on your phone.

Open a pre-filled email

This opens your own email app with the details filled in, so your reply address is always right. Nothing is sent through this website. If the button does nothing, just email [email protected] directly.

Transcription is not working

Transcription needs a one-time download of a speech-recognition model, roughly 140 MB. Until that finishes, the speech report is unavailable while the rest of the app works normally. If the download failed, open the Report tab and start it again, ideally on Wi-Fi. Once it is on your phone, transcription works offline forever.

Where are my recordings stored?

In WordFlow's private storage on your device, and nowhere else. There is no server to upload them to. That also means they are as permanent as your phone is: uninstalling the app, or losing the device, deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture, including the honest caveat about your phone's own cloud backup.

I have run out of free recordings

The free version includes three saved recordings per week, resetting on Monday. The allowance is counted per device, not per profile, and only when a recording is actually saved, so an abandoned session costs you nothing. WordFlow Pro is a one-time purchase that removes the limit.

I bought Pro and it is not showing up

Open Settings and choose restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple or Google account you bought with; purchases are tied to that store account, not to a WordFlow login, because WordFlow has no accounts. If a restore still does not work, email us with the date of purchase.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought through. On iOS use Apple's Report a Problem page; on Android use Google Play's refund process. If the store turns you down and you think it was wrong, email us. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

My child uses the app

When you set up a profile, WordFlow asks for a birth year. A profile for someone under 13 runs in child mode: crash reporting is never offered or sent, recording starts switched off, and purchases and outbound links sit behind a parental gate. Recordings stay on the device for every profile. The details are in the privacy policy.

The microphone is not picking anything up

Check that WordFlow has microphone permission in your phone's settings, and that the microphone toggle on the session screen is on. On a child profile, recording starts off by design and has to be turned on deliberately.

How do I turn crash reporting on or off?

Settings has a crash-reporting toggle, and it is off unless you switch it on. On an under-13 profile it is not offered at all. Reports never contain your recordings, transcripts, or profile name.

I want my data deleted

Delete individual recordings in the Recordings tab, or uninstall the app to remove everything at once. If you turned crash reporting on, or bought Pro, and want the anonymous records held by those providers deleted, email us and we will action it.

Accessibility, or a feature you are missing

Both are worth an email. WordFlow is a small independent app and requests from people actually practising with it are how it gets better.
